Hi, my name is Ben and I'm a drummer seeking a singer / songwriter / musician to form the foundations of an original quirky indie-powerpop-alternative-rock band, perhaps with a folky edge and possibly to include the odd cover in our own style.
I quite like song lyrics with humour, irony and sarcasm - but not excluding a serious edge. I have a selection of songs already written, or in the making, that we could work on. If you're a band looking for a drummer I'd be interested too.
I have been playing drums and in bands for 25 years. Looking for something fun, easy going, with practice every 1-3 weeks (with an emphasis on practice in our own time), and looking to gig and record when ready. I’m in my 30s, and have the normal life priorities, so would probably suit someone around my age, but open to suggestion.
