I am currently drummer in a covers band, slowly developing own material and having a lot of fun doing so. We are called the Illegal Regals and can be found on Spotify, Amazon & iTunes. I may be available for another project providing it is with sensible, easy going and committed people like myself who want to most of all have fun but are not limiting themselves and are eager to get the word out and gig in some good venues.

Please note i have just updated this profile 18/09/2012 and hate it when there is no audio to hear of the person you are looking at, so please get yourself a listen on either Spotify, iTunes or Amazon as my life being very busy at the moment, it might take a while to get some drum example online, think i'll do a computer mix of different examples in one mp3 at some point for here so watch this space.

Influences

As a drummer of 11 years (starting in 2001) i like to hear intricate clever drumming, as well as Hard Hitting powerful drums (my playing style being more like the latter). Therefore no suprises that my influences, those that i like playing to are hard rock bands such as:

Disturbed, Foo Fighters, Muse, and like intelligent metal drumming from the likes of Chris Adler (Lamb Of God) though this is not really my specialty, the music i play to at the moment doesn't call for it, though it is a style i would develop and enjoy if that path took me there.

I also like Modern Dubstep and electronic music, and am quite happy to experiement with electronic effects, though my kit at the moment is a fully featured acoustic.

EQUIPMENT

The Drums: I have a nice 24 inch kick drum based kit, make and model being a Mapex Pro M in Midnight Black. I usually gig with one rack and one floor tom, though i have 1 extra of each in different sizes.

The Cymbals: I have built up and invested in some nice cymbals from Sabian initially, and then later and more recently started to include Zildjian into the mix and now have slightly more Zildjian tilt. I have Sabian hi hats and China. two Zildjian crashes and one Zildjian 22" K Custom Ride.

Drum Accesories include: splash, China, Tambourine, Cowbell and double kick pedal.

Also worth noting i drive so can get myself to gigs and practise.
