Experienced double bass player. Comfortable with any genre and have played regular gigs in bands. Genres includes jazz, latin, folk, rock, cumbia, covers, classical. I’ve lived in South Africa, New Zealand, Ireland and most recently the UK where I’ve been based in Islington, London for the past 3 years.
Im looking to join a band with ideally an existing repertoire and regular gigs. I learn songs quickly and am comfortable with charts, improvisation and sight reading.
I also play electric bass, but prefer upright. I have also done backup vocals in previous folk and covers bands.
