ABOUT

I am currently drummer with "Slyde", The No1 Slade Tribute band in the UK and Europe. We perform all over the UK and in 2013 we also performed in Germany, France and jersey. Our set list includes 50 minutes of Slade classics and also Glamrock covers by Bowie, Marc Bolan, Sweet, Wizard and others. Over the years I have played most genre's Rock, Pop, Country, Strict Tempo Dance, Soul and Funk.

I do not read music, but my improvisation is good.

Influences

During the 60's I was influenced by bands from the Mersey sound (Beatles, Searchers, Gerry and the Pacemakers) as I left school I got into Canned Heat, Cream and Hendrix, in the 70's I was influenced by Glamrock, particularly Sweet and Wizzard.

EQUIPMENT

For the past 15 years I have played a Pearl Export kit and use Zyldjan/Paiste cymbals.
