Influences

Range from old school funk and early motown, to bands such as nirvana, chilli peppers, the Melvins and bands like skint or mogwai, then hip hop beats and live breakbeat/drum n bass which is the kind of stuff I produce in the studio but have only ever performed in indie or rock bands, but learned to play funk and hop hop style beats long before ever being in a band.

EQUIPMENT

I own an 8 piece drum kit, 22" bass, 4 rack mounted toms 8,10,12 & 14", 16" floor Tom and a 14" and 8" piccolo snare drums. Multi cymbal set up.

Studio has an elesis digital drum kit, akai mpd32 controller, akai mpk mini keyboard, akai eie Pro 4x4 audio interface, triple screen pc running reason, full editing and mastering suite, audio tecnica dynamic microphone and vocal booth, kurzweil ks40 near field monitors and a fostex Spa 11 centre speaker pa monitor system for recording and production of the dnb/dubstep/house tracks I'm working on but have plenty of time to both rehearse and perform and would be happy to discuss possible recording and mastering of any collaborated tracks as well as having opportunity for a vocalist and other musicians on side projects within the dance genres.

But I miss playing live drums, in a live band and being on stage doing what I do best.
