Permanent Female Singer wanted for established Wedding/Function band

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join our already busy and established wedding/function band. We are on the look out for an experienced permanent lead singer to front our band and continue on our growing success.

What are we looking for?

An experienced permanent female singer to front our already established gigging function band (approx 33 gigs and counting this year so far). Someone who is a fun team player with a good sense of humour but with a professional attitude.

Great stage presence and look, charisma and confidence in front of an audience, have fun performing and interact with the band and guests.

Be comfortable and versatile singing Pop, Rock, RnB, Soul, Motown, Indie and anything in between!

Ability to put your own spin on some songs to suit your strengths.

Own transport required (travel can be provided from our band base or meeting point en route to gigs where feasible).

We post regularly to social media to generate a general buzz around us as a quality function band, we need someone who can help capture some of those great live moments of the band and guests having a great time.

The use of wireless equipment is encouraged to increase the ability to interact with the guests.

Availability required

As expected in this industry most weddings/events are on weekends, mostly Saturdays closely followed by Fridays, some occasional Sundays and (even less occasionally) the odd weekday wedding

Pay for gigs is usually around £225 + with plenty of extra income when extras are booked (extra band set, afternoon acoustic set, acoustic ceremony requests etc…)

About Us

Electric Outfit was created in 2018 with a view to pulling together experienced and talented musicians that take pride in providing quality live entertainment. Our vision has always been to deliver an excellent service that can cater for each wedding/event with our diverse repertoire covering modern to classic hits keeping the dance floor full.

Areas covered are the south east, south, and all surrounding areas of M25, we do get the occasional gig a little further afield as far as Gloucester and Norfolk but these aren’t too common.

Ages range from 27 to 50

We are a friendly wedding/function band consisting of bass, drums and guitar, we use good quality backing to enhance the performance, just the odd synth, strings, sound effect etc...it’s there to gently add a fuller sound without needing to recruit an army of musicians. We are looking for a singer that can fit in with our set up, we are easy going and enjoy what we do, we are looking for a confident versatile singer who is happy to sing some of the classic bangers as well as a few current hits, anything that fills the dance floor! Someone that wants to be part of something exciting and continue on our journey with us contributing to our already excellent reputation to bring the party!

Set list could contain anything from Stevie Wonder, Adele, Bruno Mars, Queen, Tina Turner, Bon Jovi, Whitney Houston, Taylor Swift, Dolly Parton, Killers, Maroon 5, James Brown, Kings of Leon, Abba etc....

Rehearsals

Rehearsals are held in North Kent (Medway towns) in our private music studio, once you are up to speed we don’t envisage the need to rehearse regularly although happy to hit the studio if wanting to record some promo or if there’s anything performance related to work on, we all maintain a professional standard and trust each other to deliver a good performance on the night.
