Hi,
We are a new post-metal project based in North London and we are currently looking for a bassist to join our line up.
It is hard to describe the style of a new band that is still shaping its own sound, but it is something between post-metal, doom and post-rock. To give you some examples of bands that we like and that we feel inspired by, we could mention: Amenra, Cult of Luna, The Ocean, God is an Astronaut, Toundra, Mastodon.
We have over 40 min of music written and we are in the process of refining it during rehearsal time. I can send over a couple of decently home recorded demos to give you a better idea of our sound.
The line up at the moment includes 2 guitars and a drummer (all in the mid 30s). All three of us also sing and scream and have extensive previous experience of band recording and touring.
We are looking for a bass player with decent gear, a good collaborator, who's willing to rehearse once a week and work independently. Ideally someone who likes to create music with others. We usually rehearse at Storm Studio beside Holloway Road Station.
We are planning to record a first ep in September and possibly gigging as soon as everything starts again.
