ABOUT

I started playing guitar when I was seven and never have stopped. I've played with a bunch of people over the years but never managed to get a proper band together. I'm currently 23 years old and just moved to London, so I'm really excited to meet some fellow musicians and get together to play some tunes.

In short, I just love playing guitar and I'd be happy playing many different genres. I am looking forward to finding some people to get together, jam and possibly gig a bit. Let me know if this sounds like your jam! :)

PS: I'm a leftie!

Influences

I would say my playing style is rooted in blues for the most part, with influences from Clapton to Kingfish and all the greats in between. I've grown up listening to 70s and 80s rock n roll bands so that's where I gravitate towards, inspired by the likes of Queen or Van Halen but also less hard-rock people such as Dire Straits or Pink Floyd. I also love more technical guitarists such as Andy Timmons in particular. As for more contemporary guitarists, I would cite John Mayer, Mateus Asato, Chon, Polyphia and Covet. Either way, I basically just love good music, I'm a big fan of jazz and funk as well so any genre can fit me. That's on the electric side. For the acoustic, I would cite Tommy Emmanuel, Chet Atkins or Mark Knopfler as big influences.
