We are an electronic rock band from Brighton called Cat Fire Radio. We make music with sharp, angular math rock guitars on top of synthetic bass grooves that make your body move, with a female pop-rock vocal layered on top. Influences

Our band is a mix of diverse influences, including grunge, punk and math rock bands like Nirvana, Shellac, Jesus Lizard, Sonic Youth, etc, but on a foundation of dance/trance/house bass and synths. It is noisy punk rock that you can dance to. We like to contrast this with beautiful pop melodies inspired by Lily Allen, Amy Winehouse, Moloko, Kylie Minogue, Madonna, Ella Fitzgerald and Blossom Dearie. There's a lot in the pot but we're trying to do something new and different.
