Hey, so I'm looking to start a band in Oxford and am looking for a guitarist, vocalist (preferably female) and drummer, though I'm open to other instrument suggestions :).
I'd like to make music which combines a lot of different elements of genres I like, and whatever genres you like too. For me, these would be mathrock/mathpop, soul and r&b, alternative rock, indie, post-rock, etc. etc.
I've got a few ideas ready to develop but would really love to be in a band where everyone chips in and helps develop the music. This is really just to have some fun and enjoy making music, if it goes somewhere that's cool, if it doesn't that's cool too :)
Preferably you would be between 18-22 and at university as well though being outside these parameters isn't exactly an issue. More importantly you'd need to be able to practice on weekends, be it day or evening, as there is no way I can practice during the week.
