Hi y'all, I am looking to start/join a band in the London; I'm an early intermediate guitarist looking to collaborate with like-minded individuals on Covers or Originals: I am happy to follow if we're aligned towards a goal and take the lead in areas where I am confident in my knowledge.
I'm happy to record some song playthroughs to show where I am currently, I know I don't know everything and I'm concerned with growing above all else.
I am entirely self taught, repair and maintain my own gear inc. soldering, I have gigged live before and have connection to an up-and-coming band that I meet with regularly through a friend - so, in short, I've dipped my toes into more serious waters and I've been inspired to finally tread them myself.
I am beginning to write my own material - my background and primary inspiration for music is for Video Games so I'm working on arrangements in this area. However, this is just something I do for fun and any remotely video-game related would be a bonus, certainly *not* a requirement for a project.
I'm working a 9-5 job and have other hobbies and skills to develop, I will not claim to drop everything for an idea but I am willing to explore and learn if we find momentum; I'd even learn bass and vocals to support, if needed and given some guidance to aid in this.
As long I have a good time with good people and we're bringing some energy and hype, I'm easy going!
