Old drummer looking for other musicians to form an informal 60s/70s/80s covers band or other interesting project, with minimal rehearsals (possibly unplugged in my front room!) and a few gigs in the North Somerset area.
I have played most styles in over 45 years including rock, latin, jazz, pop, soul and country & western, ranging from backing cabaret to a 10-piece soul band to a 15-piece brass band. I did a couple of am-dram shows in Weston Playhouse in the orchestra pit. I've backed a community choir at their Christmas concert. I taught myself to play Irish bodhran and played a few folk nights. I like to gig and entertain, and having a laugh is essential.
