Bears of Brasov are an alternative 3-piece rock band who play music with distinctive girl/boy vocals, heavy riffs and catchy melodies. They have recently secured a year long development deal with a label and the lead-singer/guitarist and drummer need a committed bassist for writing and recording new music and playing gigs across the UK.
They have been gigging in London and Cambridge predominately and have been drawing in crowds with their high octane live performances and unique on-stage chemistry. These have included slots at the Camden Barfly and a headline slot at The Macbeth in Hoxton. They have also been making the effort to branch out to other cities. They have played at The Bowery in Sheffield and at The Roadhouse in Manchester. They have lots of gigs lined up in London, and other parts of the UK, of which a few are headline slots.
Despite being relatively new on the live circuit, they have already been featured by The Whiteboard Project blog and Killing Moon Blog as Track Of The Day for their song 'Two Shadows' for which they also filmed a music video. This was featured on Music Mafia blog as Music Video of The Day. Most recently, their track 'Sunset' was chosen by The Unsigned Guide to feature as part of their November Spotlight feature. They now have plans to record another EP in the new year.
