Barrelhouse are a hard-working Blues Band packed with energy and experience.
After four fantastic years our singer is leaving us in May to pursue his 'other' career. He set a high standard and so will you. In the past few years we have played with the likes of Dr Feelgood, The Animals, Toyah Wilcox and The Swinging Blue Jeans, and spent three months in the top 20 of the UK blues air play chart.
Playing tracks from the 30s through to the present day, we gig a couple of times a month (normally within an hour of Swindon) and whilst the income keeps us in strings, drumheads and beer, we all have lives outside the band and really we play for the love of it.
Nonetheless, we are all experienced musicians and are serious about putting on a good show and maintaining and furthering our reputation.
