Band to Join, Acoustic Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin, Fiddle, Accordion.

ABOUT

Versatile and experienced guitarist, bassist, upright bassist and ukulele player (aged 50). I like any music with a good feel, but particularly retro styles: 50s, 60s, bluegrass, rockabilly, blues, sea shanties, skiffle and country. Good backing vocal and some lead vocal.

Would like to join or start small (and preferably relatively local to Woking / Guildford and surrounding areas) acoustic roots group on ukulele or upright bass doing a mix of skiffle, bluegrass, sea shanties and blues etc, either covers or original or both.
For the fun as much as anything else, the social side of being in a band with the aim of doing some local festivals or charity gigs.
