We are Aurora-Project.

A unique female-fronted rock band based around Manchester, having been together for approx. 12 years.

Musically we would describe ourselves as melodic, heavy rock - but we have elements of metal, folk and other genres too. We have released a few singles. These can be found on Spotify ('Spots to Stripes', 'Life's Mysteries' etc) and YouTube.

We have quite a few songs ready to go, and are planning to carry on recording asap. Once ready we also plan to play some live shows. We already had built up a decent network of contacts and plan to continue with this.

None of us is a professional musician (at least by trade) however we are serious about what we do. We aren't planning to quit our day-jobs and tour the world (or even the country) but want to make the most of the live scene when we can.

As people, we work well together and are laid back and friendly - we're looking for someone who will get on with us. But aside from that requirement we are open to anyone over age 18, any background, male/female. As a drummer - expect to be challenged by some of our music - we're not a band who plays everything in a straight 4/4 all the time.

We are based around South Manchester, and finding a drummer who is in this area would be ideal - but not essential for the right person.
