Depressed.. stuck in a rut.. haven't played bass in about 10 years. Self employed but with an erratic work schedule, I may just be the worst addition to your band imaginable..
Bought a nice new bass months ago with intentions of getting back up to basic competence then looking to join a band, make my life go in a different direction and be more fulfilled.. having only picked it up once since then due to worsening depression I'm having to reassess, but would love to meet some good people who would like to play some music and just get some joy out of life. Ready to go right now with backing vocals/harmonies (harmonising is honestly one of the things I enjoy most in life) and if I wait till I feel healthier and get back up to speed with bass by sitting on my own at home, it feels like I'll never get anywhere. Had wanted to join a band with intentions of playing gigs, be it original or covers, but right now would be happy to just have a regular jam and get going again
