Amandinus is a roots-rock and country-soul band based in East Anglia and we are currently promoting our latest album 'Lead Me Somewhere' (released April 2022).
Along with original songs, Amandinus perform alternative blues and folk and reinvent with zest and zeal songs by The Band, Johnny Cash, The Rolling Stones, Van Morrison, The Dead South and many more. Amandinus offer a uniquely versatile package - mixing powerful original material with vintage tunes and up tempo rocking.
The band is looking for a creative and confident percussionist / drummer ideally with vocals. Ideally, you would live in or near Lowestoft or Colchester to make it easier for rehearsals.
We need someone who is happy to play original material, re-arrange traditional blues and folk, add their own style to some classic songs, and enjoys playing live.
We need someone with transport and their own equipment and this would suit someone committed to doing something different and looking to gig weekly. Although Amandinus play a variety of events throughout East Anglia and beyond, we ARE NOT a function band. Other people's songs compliment our own original material.
