We are a wedding band in our late 30s/early40s, based in London who perform cover songs which span across the 80s, 90s, and 00s (think Bonnie Tyler, Fleetwood Mac, Jamiroquai, Bloc Party, The Strokes, The Cure and more). We love to play together, practicing on average once a week usually in Earlsfield, and would love to get a demo recorded and get more gigs in the diary for this year and next. Our next gig is on May 25th and we are in need of a guitarist ASAP. We would ideally like to start rehearsing with a new guitarist by early March.
We are a fun bunch who have varying tastes in music, so we collaborate to find the best song choices for the gigs, which suit our tastes and abilities. We like to have a few beers while rehearsing and often go to the pub after for a catch up about band stuff or general life.
Looking for someone who is skilled on guitar and can learn/pick up songs easily, and who also fits in and wants to have a good time. We are a relaxed group and while we haven't done loads of gigs to date, we are hoping to change that with a new guitarist!
