I live near turnpike lane in north London and am looking for other like minded musicians to write play and gig with. I write and record a lot of my own stuff (which i'll be putting up here as soon as I can) so you can get an idea if you like any of it. Although I've just put myself down as a guitarist I also play keyboard, bass, bit of drums, harmonica and am learning violin at the moment. I've also got a bunch of recording equipment and software if anyone just wants to get me to record some of their songs for a lot cheaper than a big studio would charge.

Influences
I'm into pretty much most things from drum and bass to classical, being a guitarist though rock music is my main thing. Just lookin through my itunes now I'm into... Aphex twin, arctic monkeys, BEATLES (gotta be a favourite), beethoven, blur, bob dylan, charlie winston, the cure, bowie, graham coxon, jeff buckley, kasabian are pretty good, er...kings of leon, led zep (classic), Libertines (modern classic), lily allen (sorry but I do quite like her stuff), M.I.A, manic street preachers, metalica, metric, miles davis, modest mouse, morrissey (and the smiths), muse, muddy waters, nine inch nails, oasis, pink floyd, portishead, prodigy, queens of the stone age (big fan of them), radiohead (obviously), white stripes etc. etc. etc. There, think thats plenty.
EQUIPMENT
Got two fender electrics, and two acoustics (one nylon one steel string), I've got a practice amp and one for gigging, plus a bass guitar I also have access to a keyboard, and some bongo sort of drums that my house mate (for some reason) has (- literally like 8 of them). I've also got logic pro and a bunch of recording stuff which is pretty helpful for getting ideas down without having to spend ridiculous amounts in a studio.

This is one of my own songs i wrote a few months ago. Still working on getting vocals down. It's definitely one of the heavier/ 'metaly' things I've written but if thats not to your taste listen on because my other stuffs pretty different.

This is another one of mine, pretty different to the other me thinks, bit more electro style. I'm pretty into experimenting with genres. Got my mate to help me out singing on it (but lyrics and melody are my own).
