My names Aiden and I play a guitar...
I’m a chord and arpeggio focused player who loves creating jangly, melodic music. I can play most early Byrds songs, a lot of Tom Petty’s material, and several George Harrison acoustic demos from All Things Must Pass.
I’ve been playing for around two years and I’m looking to meet people with similar influences and musical interests. I’d eventually like to write original songs, I'm more of a “composer” in the sense that I hear music in my head and try to recreate it on guitar, rather than starting with lyrics.
I’m mainly into 60s melodic guitar music, and I also love mid?to?late 70s bands like Tom Petty, The Police, and Dire Straits. Big fan of the late?80s/90s Wilburys/Clapton/Petty/McGuinn/Bangles style too.
I’d really like to meet musicians to jam with even just to play together, improve, learn how to work as a group, and develop improvisation skills.
