We are looking for a drummer (male/female/non binary) to join our band and ongoing podcast, 2 songs 2 beers.
It's a podcast about starting a band you can find it here: www.2songs2beers. The original concept was to play two songs with people who were looking to join and then have a few beers with them afterward to see if we'd get on socially as well as musically. Unfortunately, our drummer's moving to Vietnam, so we're looking for a new member!
We sound like Queens of the Stone Age/Royal Blood with elements of Jack White (think big riffs with solid grooves). We're also big fans of funk and would love to incorporate that into our sound.
Our ideal band member, would be:
A excellent drummer or multi-instrumtalist into modern and classic rock, blues etc.
Experience in songwriting.
A love of craft beer.
A progressively minded person.
Someone comfortable with speaking on a podcast.
London based.
We are looking for someone with enthusiasm, but not fanaticism. We work this around our busy social and family lives so this project would not suit someone looking to get signed or pursue music as their sole career, we play for the love of it!
