Medway/ Maidstone based Classic blues rock band STONEACRE (find us on band page: /STONEACREBAND ) are in the market for a new lead singer/frontman after our guy had to bail for personal reasons (we are also keen on having an organ player and possibly a second guitarist..so...Singing organ players or singer /rythm guitarists also welcome lol). We are into the retro/classic/vintage thing....old gear, valves, vintage drums, Strats, Tele's, Les Pauls etc...All Zep Heads at heart with various other influences...lovers of big riffs, blues rock, jamming...mostly covers but would be looking to write/record too...Hugely talented drummer who has done lots of pro stuff and deps...all of us around the 39-42 mark...We basically wish we were much younger and we also wish we were RIVAL SONS ;)

Classic rock and blues, all the usual suspects, Cream, ZEP, Hendrix, Free, Queen, Black Crowes,The cult,Philip Sayce, Kravitz,Rival Sons, Purple, Focus, Allman Brothers, Early classic Whitesnake, Aerosmith, all the blues guys...SRV, BB, Freddie and Albert King, Peter Green, Jeff Beck, BBA, The Steepwater Band, Marc Ford,Burning Tree, The Georgia Satellites, anything of that ilk...mostly riff based blues rock style....any vintage gear heads, classic, retro, or modern with a classic vibe type players...Rival Sons are pretty damned spot on to what we would like to have been?....Huge fans of other bands like The Hoax, Davey Brothers and other Hoax members projects, Jon Amor Blues Group etc..love a bit of americana, classic stoner blues bands like Masters of Reality..
