We are young, we are over-educated and under-paid. We are bored by the choices offered to us (or are there just too many choices to bother trying to choose from)... Like the recession of the early 90's brought the likes of Nirvana and Green Day, so it must be this time around that young people are again put upon and pissed off. We don't wanna play the twee music that is so favoured in the UK at the moment, we wanna say it like it is and like it is, is sh*t. But no worries, we can still play music, party and get pissed. Shall we start the revolution or shall we have another beer?
Having previously played the likes of Astoria 2, Clapham Grand, Bar Academy Islington in previous bands, stop.drop.explode may be slack-punk by genre but certainly not by nature. Hailed by reviewers as a 'contagious live outfit', this young four piece female fronted punk band are bringing the early 90's American vibe to late noughties Britain.
