Hey - alto / tenor sax player 25 years experience playing, jazz/blues trained. Circa 5/6 years live band experience. Played a lot in my early 20s in ska/reggae/motown band covering everything from pubs/clubs, weddings, corporate events to festivals. Also played in rockabilly band and modern blues singer/song writer type groups.
Was previously a backing vocalist for other bands but keen to do some front woman-ing / duetting.
Haven't been actively playing for the last few years mainly due to other commitments and the pandemic but keen to get back into gigging.
I'm primarily interested in having fun, getting together learning some songs, putting on gigs and having a good time. I've done the originals / studio thing and not particularly keen to go back to - but could be swayed for the right fit.
What I would really love is to join a ska punk outfit a la Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish circa early 2000s - that would be fun
