Established gothic rock band ::WESTENRA:: are looking for a drummer. Although we are based in Whitby we are happy to accept applications from outside the area.
Requirements:
• Own gear and transport
• Electronic kit would be useful for some practices and recording demos etc.
• Playing to a click track is essential
• Double kick pedal
• Gothic/dark/alternative image
• Auditions will be held in the Whitby area.
As a band we have released two albums and two EPs, played major festivals and appeared in national and international magazines as well as on national television.
Our sound has been described as goth without the melodrama and rock without the clichés. Influences include Siouxsie & The Banshees, Within Temptation, Fields of The Nephilim, Type O Negative, Evanescence, Dead Can Dance, The Mission, Paradise Lost, Beyond The Black, etc.
