we are two guitars (24 and 27) bass (21) and drums (23) looking for a singer were doing the covers scene to pay for time in the studio to work on our own stuff and sliping in originals to get them out into the public however some of our covers you wouldnt even think could be made into rock/metal songs not the same run of the mill droll.
we have execlent gear for giging at the moment i am lead vocals but whant to step back to backing vocals and focus on guitar with the other guitar in the band, drums and the other two also do backing vocals aswell so we do work on harmonies.
we have a massive range of tastes in the band From Alterbridge,Creed, Nickleback,Tool,Dream threater, Metallica, iron maiden, led zep, GNR ,rock/heavy rock/ metal , to some stuff that has nothing to with rock or metal at all so were all very open minded.
we realise that just doing originals will get you no where ,people come to see bands because they whant to hear songs they know however were not content to just be a pub covers band.
we have our own practice building and transport for all of the bands gear and practiced every sunday afternoon.
The bands name is Tombland after norwich the myspace is http://www.myspace/wearetombland allthough its not long gone live so not much on it. were looking for someone whos easy going will take on ideas as we will take ideas given,comitted enjoys a laugh and whants to work to the same goal as us and whants to make writing originals a whole band process idealy 20-30 years old.
