ABOUT

I started learning as a teen then fell away from it for many years. Got back into it around 3 and half years ago. Id put myself in the intermediate skill level. I have a large selection of songs that I can play and I guess that's why I am here, sitting in front of the T.V learning TAB after TAB has become a little stale and I would like to stop learning and playing in such an isolated manner. I am open to jamming/improvising with someone/people as this is definitely an area I would like to improve on/get tips.
Joining a band would be fun if I could find the right group of people. I have a lot of spare/flexible time and when I was a teen this was the aim when first picking up a guitar.
I have never written a song in my life but I feel I now possess the skills to attempt it with a fair chance of success. It would be great to bounce ideas around with someone.
I am 44 years old/M and am willing to travel as far as Aberdeen/Stonehaven/Ballater/Inverurie.
Some of the artists that I cover are Eva Cassidy, Muse, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, Oasis, Jimi Hendrix, Bon Jovi, ACDC, Pink Floyd. I also have have a selection of live, unedited recordings made in my living room that would give a more detailed account of my ability if wanted.
