Protege Reign are moving into a new chapter of their musical development and live shows.

Our music style has been called “electro – indie” - influenced by bands such as Depeche Mode, Hurts and Ultravox.

Our first album “Awakening” was released in 2011 with the song “Dancing Children” being featured in the Noel Clarke film Storage 24.

Now working on our second album, Protege Reign are moving to a purer electro sound having decided to move away from the indie guitar component of their former music.

We are seeking a new band member to join this next stage. Playing a full part in live shows, we are looking for a creative and technologically savvy individual who can:

• lead on production, mixing and mastering of our new songs
• create exciting, original video production to complement our songs – in live shows, on youtube, via our
• manage the content of our site and website
• contribute musically with backing vocals, keys and synth fillers

Influences

Mainstream 80's and 90's electro synth such as Depeche Mode, Moby, Gary Numan, OMD, Blancmange, Simple Minds, Vince Clarke etc as well as more contempory bands like Hurts.

Going forward the band are looking for new members that can bring technical expertise to live work such as video presentation and wish to experiment with some female backing etc. So please feel free to make contact.
