My father ran a rehearsal and recording studio when I was a boy growing up and I would session for bands who were short o& musicians. I was touring on the anarcho punk scene back in 1981 with a band called crass and I had topped the indie charts back.
I formed many bands over the years with friends and played pubs and clubs. Eventually I became a teacher and played for the kids in the school band. Now I just play recreationally

Influences
I have an eclectic taste from pink floyd, hawkwind and Gong to Bob Dylan, the who and the stones. I like the chieftains and I like lightning Hopkins so I’m happy playing and listening to all kinds of music.
Music is like food to me and I enjoy every flavour there is to be found but country music has never really turned me on I’m afraid.
