For a number of years the session guitar slinger just hit the roads, spending his time travelling the length and breadth of Europe; training and honing his unique style with the best musicians the continent has to offer. His path eventually led him to the UK and to Brighton where he found a demand for his rare talent; as a member of the hooded enigma collectively known only as the South Central Crew. Within this role Vees distinctive guitar style has made an explosive entrance on the UKs Indie/Dance scene. His inventive 6 string action has not only been deployed on commissions for no less than three Major label acts: The Maccabees, Boy Kill Boy and the Puppini Sisters (Fiction, Vertigo, Universal respectively). But also two of the NMEs most hotly tipped Indie acts of 2007 with both Metronomy and sh*tDISCO. His work with South Central has now extended to two original singles Nothing Can Go Wrong and Headroom and most recently an as yet untitled collaboration with Electro legend Gary Numan. His licks can also be found imbedded in the work of Electro remixers Dead Presidents; currently finding massive repeated favour with the likes of Judge Jules for their track Wanna Be With You.
