Trombone.ABOUT
We're looking for a trombonist to join our brass section of trumpet, tenor and baritone sax. You don't need to be expert standard but we'd expect you to be a confident player with a bit of band experience. It would be great if you could solo as well on some tracks.
We're an instrumental band, based in North London and play covers - Lettuce, Tower of Power, Fatback Band, Budos Band, True Loves, Soulive etc - so loosely funk, but with elements of soul, afrobeat, rock and latin thrown into the mix.
We're playing covers to start with so we can develop ourselves as a tight unit rather than concentrate on songwriting, but we hope to develop our own tracks in the future.
We've got a lot of playing experience between us and we range from 30 - 60 years old. Age isn't important - it's the attitude that counts!
We're currently looking for gigs for around October, so still plenty of time to get on board with the set. We rehearse at Mill Hill Music Complex on Tuesday evenings.
