So, I'm looking to start a band. I've recently moved to Falmouth and have pretty much 0 contacts so I thought I'd try searching online. I'd ideally like another guitarist (I play guitar myself) a bassist, a drummer, and possibly a vocalist though if people were willing to wait, I'd like to learn vocals myself also. I'm essentially looking for a group of relaxed, chilled out people to create something new with.
I'm personally after a sort of ambient sound (possibly shoegaze) that can all of a sudden turn noisy or angry and give the music some oomph. I don't want to be one of those bands that just floats around, I like to make noise.
I'm not really an accomplished guitarist, I've been playing bass for about seven years now and only made the switch to guitar about a year ago. So musicians that are patient or inexperienced and willing to learn as I am would be excellent, though at the moment I'm just desperate to make music, whether it's the ambient, noisy style I just mentioned or not.
Also, the name Dagobah isn't set in stone, that's totally open for change. :)
