Hi,
After many years, 2 old school friends are putting "the band" back together. However, we no longer dream of rock stardom - now we just want to have fun playing gigs. Our remit for the playlist is "songs people know when drunk" (we figured that's what people want on a night out)
Looking for a competent guitarist to share lead/rhythm duties. Personality and commitment more important than amazing skills. Certainly no dicks or divas. We aren't looking to make loads of money, just have (and provide) a good time.
Two existing members (guitar and bass) both been playing 25+ years, Both experienced giggers. This is very much a start up project and plan to be gigging by September. Have a few people interested in singing and need to recruit a drummer but want to have guitars up to speed before bringing others in. We plan to recruit more in the next few weeks.
