Drums.ABOUT
We have been around for 2 years now and we are looking to cement our position as one of the most exciting and original unsigned bands in the city. We have supported several signed touring bands and have had airplay on BBC, XFM and other local radio in Manchester. We have lots of gigs lined up for the new year, and we are also in the process of arranging a nationwide tour in the summer and also have some other projects we are working on, so we need you to be committed!
“A blend of Madchester beats and spiky post punk guitars and synth, fronted by a man with an attitude and confidence that is somewhat lacking in new music these days” – Guestlist Live Review, 2008
“Brilliant” – Clint Boon, XFM Manchester
“The band sounded like a copy of ‘Strange Days’ left on the radiator one chilly February morning; a woozily champion thing. They didn’t sound as though they listen to the same albums as everyone else. I fought the urge to make lazy comparisons with the Inspiral Carpets and Sixties garage bands; and in the ensuing struggle, the lurking quality of the bass caught me in the ribs; the churning Yamaha honky-tonked its fingers in my eyes. Their lysergic wobble could throb colourfully into the waiting streets. I always like to back the horse with the coolest name”. Live Review, Sandman Magazine
“In quiet moments they are a bit like Alfie, and at their fiery, energetic best they sound like the Charlatans or the Roses, albeit with a fresh, modern spikiness” EP Review
