HI! I'm Alis - a singer/songwriter removed from my former musical partner, (I used to live in Edinburgh, he still lives in Edinburgh) he and I have been doing a long distance thing for a while, but now I'd really like to find a new group of people to continue making music with. Primarily I'm looking for a guitarist, but if you are a multi-instrumentalist, even better! The plan is to eventually recruit/assemble 3/4 like minded souls and rehearse regularly, do a few gigs, maybe record an album? I have about 20ish songs written, melody and lyrics, and 6 songs recorded in varying levels of polish. You can hear what we've done in the past here

'American Way' is probably the best indicator of the kind of sound I'd like to create, although naturally I am open to ideas. My influences include God Help the Girl, The Smiths, King Creosote, The Divine Comedy, St Vincent, Belle & Sebastian, Peggy Sue, Sufjan Stevens....etc etc
