Traffic Wire's blend of progressive rock and melodic pop has won them many admirers and their reputation continues to grow. MAS Records described their music as "Epic Finale".
Traffic Wire are a hugely experienced band, despite their youth, having been together in one guise or another for over three years. In it’s current format, the band have enjoyed a recent flourish of activity with the launch of their début EP which was celebrated at a well attended gig at the Cockpit in Leeds in November last year.
Rob Strobel describes Traffic Wire as “Something a little bit special” when talking about their music. “I was struck by how tight this band plays as a unit when they gig, and their writing ability and style is stunning. This is one band I am really satisfied to say I am going to be working with going forward.”
They have opened the highly regarded Limetree Festival in North Yorkshire receiving great reviews as well as playing regularly at all the top venues in and around Leeds.
