Toxic Federation

Toxic Federation is a five-piece, melodic, hard-rock band from Derbyshire. Formed in 2006 with bassist, Alex Stroud, originally handling vocal duties, the band quickly set about writing and performing their own material. The songs, honed on the road, were released independently by the band, in 2008, on their debut album, 'Behind the Mask'. Incredibly, when the average age of the band was just sixteen. The decision to seek a dedicated singer, lead, in 2009, to the recruitment of Emms, a frontman of talent and charisma and the missing piece of the puzzle. Since then the band have moved to an entirely different level. The sheer dynamism and quality of their live shows has been responsible for winning them support slots with British rock legends, UFO, and rising Irish stars, The Answer, among many others. In addition to a packed schedule of gigs, returning by popular demand, again and again, to venues overwhelmed by the band, they have also appeared at Greenbelt Festival, to rave reviews, and enjoyed headline slots of their own, not least the Callis Festival in Turkey. Toxic Federation is not just a killer live-act, though; as their second album, As One, clearly demonstrates, these remarkable young musicians are also an astonishingly talented and mature song-writing collective. Standing on the shoulders of giants such as Iron Maiden, UFO and Judas Priest, Toxic Federation have, nevertheless, forged a sound far greater than the sum of their parts that is redolent of no one and is entirely their own.

Recently released 3rd album "DISTANCE" which can be found in HMV, iTunes, Play, Amazon and many other similar stores.
