SEEKING
Band to Join.ABOUT
Hi, I'm a drummer from Liverpool, 23 years young and self taught - playing since i was a wee nipper of 17! For the past 4 or 5 years I've been working solo, i do a lot of recording at home making mostly electronica and orchestral music and trying to blend my drumming into those.
I've recently attended a songwriter's night, and the live music made me realise how much i missed live performance, so I'm hoping to find someone suitable.
I have to stress that I do NOT drive at the moment therefore any bands interested would have to help with transport, which I would be more than happy to chip in petrol money for. But because of this I am looking for a band who does actually want to get out there and play some gigs, not just play about now and then. Hopefully I can post my music here to get a feel for my standard, if not I'll post a link to where my music is held.
Also, I work mon-Fri 9-5 so other than wednesday nights, I'm available anytime outside of those hours should there be any interest!

Influences
Nickelback, Creed, Alter Bridge, Black Stone Cherry, Avenged Sevenfold, Three Doors Down, my old Geography Teacher (Cracking drummer!) Hans Zimmer and many others to give my style of play an unusual flavour!
EQUIPMENT
Sonor 505 drumkit (looking to upgrade in the near future should it be necessary)
Roland TD-6KX Electronic Drumkit (more mobile, fits easily into cars and with tweaking would sound ok through a PA)
Sonar X1 Producer DAW (great for home studio recording and editing)
Aria electric guitar (because every musician has a guitar, regardless how well they play it!)

Edge of the World
Edge of the World Year: 2008 Album: Forgotten Memoirs Genre: Alternative
A piece I wrote myself not long after learning to record on DAW's. Rough around the edges as its all live and written by myself (I'm not a guitarist, hence the dodgy guitar-work!) I have no recent drum recordings i'm afraid, but hopefully this will give an idea of my style of play, although it is a lot more refined now!

Static and Solace
Static and Solace Album: Forgotten Memoirs Genre: Electronic
This is an effort of mine to produce something a little bit different, the drums are a combination of live recording, followed by step editing through Sonar. Again, all my own work.
