I've been playing on & off for approx. 35yrs. mostly rock & blues, and although I still enjoy these and by the way, many other types of music, I am increasingly being drawn to all things jazz, i.e; funk, bebop, model, acid and all the other fusions including rock & blues.
I'm looking join or form trio or 4 piece ultimately to gig, poss. pay for expenses, have a good time and keep on learning.
So there I've said it, that's my mission statement !

My listen habits; Davis, Coltrane, Shorter, Hancock, Armstrong & all the jazz greats + St Germain, Steely Dan, Howling Wolf, John Lee Hooker, Tom Waits, Little Feet, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, Amy Winehouse etc. plus alot lot more, I don't want to bore you.
While there are many great drummers & percussionists out there, the two that stand out as having that certain something, would be Tony Williams (now sadly deceased) and Terry Bozzio.
I would hope that some of them have had an influence.
