Have played in a number of bands, the last one being 7 or 8 years ago, which was a covers band. Played a couple of gigs including The Flowerpot in Derby. I'm 56 and looking for fellow musicians to form a new band for fun, without commitment initially.

Influences
Wide range of genres, but well into prog rock (Genesis, Floyd, Yes) and jazz rock (Brand X, Weather Report). Would very much like to cover some Steely Dan also. Fully open to ideas...

EQUIPMENT
Currently have a Sonor Force 507 kit with Zyldjian ZXT cymbals, and have access to recording equipment including various mikes (plus a music production graduate). Might be able to practise at my house or a local facility close to city centre.
