ABOUT

I have been playing guitar for quite a number of years and play and pic 6 and 12 string proficiently. I play 5 string banjo to a reasonable level having approached it from a guitar players angle. having experimented with this instrument over the lat 12 to 15 years I prefer to find a the mellow sounds within its range. The mandolin is quite new to me but i am enjoying the journey immensely. I play both guitar and banjo in a number of open tunings and play very much by ear. I have found a unique freedom without the constraints the dots sometimes demand. I have developed may own banjo tuning that tends to reflect more minor tones within the instrument.
I am allways willing to work with other like minded musicians and open to most challenges.
