ABOUT
I'm an Aussie who's just moved to Cambridge. Have played piano on and off since I was 5, trumpet on and off since I was 11, also more recently self-taught myself acoustic guitar and piano accordion. I've played trumpet and keyboards in a ska-reggae-rock band for 4 years, and then just trumpet in a soul-funk group for another 4 years, both of which toured around Australia and recorded several albums. Before moving to Cambridge I played trumpet for a year in London with a afrobeat-latin band.
I have a day job but am keen to join or start a group playing anything with a decent beat/groove. Blues-rock-reggae-funk-hiphop-latin-surf-whatever.
