Read this before searching me on , Tom Nettleship (there's not too many of us). Or contact tom.nettleship@.co.uk
I'll be happy to send over a soundcloud playlist.
A band is needed: I've written a live set of material ready to go that fuses together 70's Funk, Big Band "Punk Jazz", Rock and some faster grooves (some country bluegrass, some d'n'b amen breaks).
I need drummers to come forward with the dexterity of Dave Weckl, the discipline of Buddy Rich, power of Cobham and precision of Jojo Mayer. You'll love this if you like these guys!
Bass players too, I need someone better than me. That shouldn't be hard. A cross between Jaco and Anthony Jackson, you know...
I have a keys player. It's mainly rhodes, organ, moog sounding stuff.
Horns are being recorded as we speak.
Whilst this project is alive I will always be open to suggestion on players and recommendations. And band name suggestions, I hate naming bands.
About myself: Since 6 I've played guitar, went through college in Bournemouth Arts and Music studying drums, bass and composition too. I'm signed to Split Publishing and I'm a full time composer based in Camden. I've created music for adverts, shorts and features. Because this is what I do, it means I'm very flexible.
