I am a guitarist primarily, I have taught myself to play guitar and write songs. I write and produce songs on logic, though I am more capable and motivated as a writer than producer. I am starting a band with my friend, who is a very capable musician. He plays the guitar, piano and sings writes music for rock/pop bands, as well as film music. I have two potential bassists (they aren't particularly good) so am looking perhaps for a bassist, but crucially I need a drummer. I don't know any good drummers (except for myself lol, but I am playing the guitar/singing).

Strokes, beatles, wombats, anderson paak, steve lacy, BB King, Nile Rodgers, Steve Gadd (for drumming), Mac demarco, st Vincent.
I am also very influenced by classical music but obviously that is not what I'm making (Mozart, beethoven, bach, brahms, chopin, tchaikovsky are my favourite composers)

EQUIPMENT
Guitar (Electric and acoustic), equipment for producing (laptop and audio interface, logic pro with several plugins and a midi keyboard). My friend also has two guitars and an amp as well as high quality recording equipment.
