I tend to set myself a weekly target, plenty of spare time to practice so learning songs is never really a problem, I find writing my own material has always been a bit of a challenge so when it comes to playing in band that are writing original material I prefer to be present when songs a being written, I try to be as open minded as possible so I'm always looking for opportunities or other musicians to jam with whether it's professional or just for fun.
