Machine has absolutely nothing to do with nowadays pop culture.
It includes elements of rock, hard rock, pop, classical, folk and ethnic music.
It tells a story of the world today, in a way that is romantic and desperate.
The songs are tales of love, war, inner travel, dreams, memory, glory and decay, desire and pain, nature and beauty.
They are filled with deep emotions, some soft and subtle, other wild and destructive.
The background is a fantasy world very much like what you could find in fantastic and horror literature.
I wrote the music and some of the lyrics of about 30 songs or so.
I wish to create a great partnership with other artists in order to give life to this project.
What I’m looking for is a singer (male) who will feel and understand the spirit of this music, the sensuality and lyrism, and have the ability to portray emotions such as confusion, pain, love, empathy, anger, threat etc....
Help in the writing of the lyrics would be most welcome.
Though I did the voices on the demo, I want to get rid of that "teenage angst" element carried in my voice. I can still sing some of the songs when it really works (Now), and do harmonies.
I'm also looking for a talented second guitar player, to create the melodic core of the band. Someone who has strong guitar knowledge, who can play and improvise in various genres of music, including classical and traditional ethnic music. This requires technique and imagination, and playing both acoustic and electric guitar.
It is a professionally aimed project, and I want people I work with to put all their heart into it, so we can make a strong and meaningful piece of music.

Neil Young, Dylan, the Doors, Van Morrison, Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, King Crimson, Jefferson Airplane, Tim Buckley, Velvet Underground are major influences.
In movies: Sergio Leone, Kubrick, early Scorsese, Hitchcock, Blier
In Litterature: Rimbaud, Kerouac, the Lord of the Rings, Cyrano de Bergerac
And of course, life itself.
