ABOUT

We are Let It Load, a rock/indie band in the making from the Midlands. With a roster of tracks ready to go we are really looking to make some noise in 2021.

Previously a side project, quietly producing these tracks over the last 5-6 years, Let it Load has now become front and centre and we are looking for 2 or 3 more committed band members to complete the line up.

We have a number of shows planned for 2021 along with a slot on Raw Sound TV, the youtube channel for new bands later this year. We have good connections within the Birmingham, London and South West circuits from previous band experience and will be lining up to play gigs again once Corona subsides.

We are looking for a vocalist who can really fit the 80s/90s x modern rock/indie fusion we are trying to create, who perhaps also can play rhythm guitar or keys.

Our search also includes a bassist, somebody with impeccable timing who can really complete the backline with our drummer, Tom. Somebody who is comfortable playing to a click, having fun on stage and really adding another creative level to our tracks.

A rhythm guitarist would also be ideal, and possibly somebody who can also do backing vocals or synths/keys as well - a real multi-musician like a blend of Edwin Congreave and Jimmy Smith from Foals.

Whilst we have a host of tracks (5 of which you can hear on here), recorded in our home studio, we are really open to new ideas and contributions from all parties. Like bands we've been in previously, it never works trying to force ideas on others. Collaboration is key and we are all ears when it comes to feedback.

The overall aim is to create a modern sound interwoven with nostalgic cues that take listeners back to rock, grunge or even pop songs from years gone by, but how we do this is very much an open book and we really hope to find the right creative minds to help us achieve this.

Please have a listen to our tracks and you'll hopefully get a better understanding of our current vision. Perhaps you'll notice similar riffs to Oasis or The Smiths and in the song 'starting to see now' hints of Bon Jovi and Journey with the synths/keys and vocal melody.
