I am 48 years old, work ans an photographer and live in NW London. I have been playing guitar most of my life and would consider myself as a proficient amateur. I have played live doing open mic nights in the past as well as in workshops with a full band set up - which I enjoyed. However, work took over and I had to focus on that instead of doing more courses.
I prefer rhythm - and leave the lead playing to when I am at home..
The reason I have come here is that I have returned to playing the guitar after a number of years not playing due to an injury to my hand. I want to get back into playing the electric guitar and I am looking for like minded musicians who and get together playing for fun as well as learn again about playing in a group.
I am not looking to get into a serious band and do regular gigs as I work full time and have a family. I am looking at this more from a social / practice sessions. But I would consider playing again in a small pub type of a venue.
