I'm looking for a new musical project to run alongside my existing band. I have played long-term in a successful funk/disco function band, with great musicians and outstanding vocalists. I enjoy this. We get many gigs at weddings, partys and pubs. We are a stable, happy group. However, I listen to and enjoy other wide-ranging musical styles. Further back, I played in a semi-professional capacity for successful and original recording artists whose music ranged from trip-hop, to drum n bass, to alt folk.

Influences
My influences have always been broad and varied, so it's not easy to pick out artists without feeling pigeonholed. I listen to music all the time, still favour the album and have a big collection. Just to give an idea, here are some I'm listening to now and some past influences - Yussef Dayes, Ezra Collective, Tony Allen, PJ Harvey, Questlove, the Clash, Joan as Policewoman.
